Eji Sheth kahe tame sambhado vanotar
This ginan is written by Pir Sadardin. The essence of the ginan is something to do with our existence as human on this earth. I will write the first two couplets and then try to explain the gist of the ginan.
Eji Sheth kahe tame sambhado vanotar,
Vanaj rudo kari laavo ji.
Eji dahya thajo tamne shi dau(n) sikhaman,
Laabh ganero kari laavjo ji
Pir Sadardin explains in this ginan that God has sent us on this earth to do SPIRITUAL BUSINESS. The word Sheth means boss and it represents God in this ginan. The word vanotar means businessman which represents all of human kind.
In the first couplet, God says to the businessman to do good business and come back. The second couplet means when you are on earth remain a good person and bring back a big profit.
Now the message here is to do spiritual business and ELEVATE YOUR SOUL. This in our tarikah means to be regular in your Dua, Dasond and Seva. God then goes on to say to the businessman to follow the instructions of the PIR and keep the advises of Prophet Mohamed in your heart. You were in the darkness and I have saved you every moment. I also fed you and gave you your sustenance without the help of your parents which means in the womb of the mother. You were in the mother’s womb for nine months and Nabi Mohamed gave you freedom from it. There was a condition made in the womb between the Prophet and the person to be born (businessman) that when the businessman is released from the womb he will be a good person and follow the TENETS of the faith.
Now the businessman came out in the world and looking at the attractions of the world he forgot the promises he had made and got busy running after the worldly activities. This means business, family and other worldly activities. He got extremely busy in the worldly matter and totally forgot the advises he got from God and promise he made to the Prophet. He became very busy in his worldly business and became a BIG BOSS in the world. This way he spent his life. He got entangled in the worldly matters so much that his life passed by and it was time for him to return to God (time to DIE) and give the accounts of his business activities.
All through his life he stayed busy to look after his family and also for fame and glory. Now the reality set in. The angel of death came to take him away and he was rushing the businessman to take him to God.
To start any business you have to invest money. In Spiritual business God gives you total numbers of breadths. Once your breadths are used up it is the time to go back and give the account of your business for which you came on the earth.
Then the businessman died. As soon as he died he lost all his worldly wealth. This is the first thing he lost. All the time he spent through his life stayed behind and he left EMPTY HANDED.
The second attachment of the person was his family, relatives and friends. They could only go up to the burial ground and said good bye to him.
The only thing that will go with your soul is your GOOD AND BAD DEEDS. They will go with your soul and then the account is taken.
When the businessman’s soul came in the office of God to give the account, God gave order to the angel to open his account books. The angel saw that there were pages and pages of sins and could not find a word of good deed and at that time the businessman’s soul started to tremble. It became helpless and begged for forgiveness.
So what is the Moral of this ginan. Everybody is here to do the work to uplift his soul. This world is given to you for your physical sustenance while you are working to improve your SPIRITUAL STATE.
